This is me and my grief: I just found out today that Dave 'rejoined' Queens of The Stone Age. Yup. Even though technically, he only filled in for a song in their album because their drummer just left the band. But there's a good chance Dave might be rejoining the band for good, and that just makes me....feel............so damn fucking sad.

So I'm just gonna go ahead and make this kind of rec list of all those awesome Foo Fighters songs that really caught in my heart. I'm probably gonna skip huge singles-because, well. Everyone already knows how awesome those songs are.


1. Walking After You  (here)
A really, really touching song. The lyrics are just so...delicate?

2. Aurora (here)
An all-time favorite. It's one of Taylor's favorite songs! Quote, this song 'takes you on a journey'............it really does feel like it. Oh and the lyrics: "You dream about yourself, and you bleed and breathe the air" and "I just kind of died for you, you just kind of stared at me" just......hit me in the gut. This really is my favorite Foo Fighters song of all time, I think. It's just so beautiful eurgh

3. Erase/Replace (here)
Drums and guitar sound awesome, complementing each other. The lyrics aren't all that great, kind of nonsense (to me) but it's just so catchy and has that unf kind of feel to it? Yeah.

4. Alone&Easy Target (here)

From the Foo Fighter's 'debut' album-which means Dave did all the guitars, drums and vocals. This song is just so.... AWESOME I swear I don't know how to describe it, the riffs sound great and it's just that loud and noisy teenage rebel song. "Did you ever listen? Get out, get out, get out"

5. Next Year (here)
